ABOUT ME
Dr. Mehmet Eren Uz is an Associate Professor and the Vice Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, as well as the Head of Structural Engineering, at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. He previously served as an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong, where he was a valued member of the academic community since 2014. Dr. Uz earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering from the University of Wollongong with Special Commendation, following the completion of his master's degree at the same institution. Prior to this, he completed his bachelor's degree with honors at Dokuz Eylul University.
He has developed a solid knowledge in advanced optimisation techniques in structural engineering, specifically related to building structures, and since the final year of his PhD study he has completed three research projects in structural engineering.
