
Dr. MEHMET EREN UZ
Dr. Mehmet Eren Uz is an Associate Professor and the Vice Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, as well as the Head of Structural Engineering, at Aydın Adnan Menderes University. He previously served as an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Wollongong, where he was a valued member of the academic community since 2014. Dr. Uz earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering from the University of Wollongong with Special Commendation, following the completion of his master's degree at the same institution. Prior to this, he completed his bachelor's degree with honors at Dokuz Eylul University.

Denting of steel sheeting subject to impact loading... The study condacted by our bachelor honours student investigates theoretical concepts which may be applied to denting of steel sheeting subject to impact loading.

Modular buildings in general have the potential to benefit from higher quality with respect to improved material quality, improved building performance, sustainability, etc. In addition, production in factory environment results in higher worker productivity and a safer and healthier environment in modular construction compared with on-site construction.
